A native of The Bronx, Angela is a legal analyst, litigation strategist, and trained accountant with more than two decades of experience working with attorneys, entrepreneurs, and organizations on complex legal and business matters.
Since 2002, she has owned and operated Just Write Legal, a litigation writing, contracts, and legal strategy firm serving attorneys and business clients in New York and Florida. Through JWL, Angela provides case analysis, legal research and writing, discovery strategy, motion practice, contract assistance, and business-focused legal infrastructure.
Over the course of her career, Angela has worked on more than 300 matters, drafted successful briefs and motions, handled complex litigation assignments, and contributed to precedent-setting legal outcomes in New York. Her work combines legal analysis, strategic writing, procedural knowledge, and business judgment to help clients identify risks, strengthen their positions, and move matters forward.

Angela is the founder and National President of Black Connect, a national 501(c)(3) organization established in 2019 to advance Black economic independence through entrepreneurship, legal access, financial planning, business development, and institutional infrastructure.
She founded and initially funded Black Connect as a new approach to addressing the racial wealth gap - one focused not only on advocacy, but on building the practical systems Black entrepreneurs need to start, strengthen, and sustain businesses. Today, Black Connect operates as a national membership and chapter-based entrepreneurial ecosystem serving business owners, professionals, students, and community partners across the United States.
Drawing on more than two decades of experience in the legal field, Angela developed Black Connect’s award-winning Small Business Legal Services Program, a national pro bono initiative that connects Black entrepreneurs with attorneys for business-related legal assistance. The program has handled approximately 1,000 legal service requests and generated more than $250,000 in pro bono legal value for entrepreneurs.
Under Angela’s leadership, Black Connect has also expanded its work into financial planning, mentoring, market validation, policy advocacy, leadership development, and the creation of new models for Black business and community infrastructure.

Inventor
Angela is the founder of Reimagine Games and the inventor of Tic-Tac-Pro! and Five Down™, two original tabletop games designed to make familiar forms of play more strategic, engaging, and social.
Tic-Tac-Pro! is an advanced board game for two or four players that reimagines classic tic-tac-toe by adding chance, reducing predictability, and creating multiple paths to victory. With several ways to play, the game is designed for beginners, experienced players, partners, and competitive play.
Mattel described Tic-Tac-Pro! as “a very clever and compelling take on the classic tic tac toe game—sincerely, one of the best adaptations of a classic game that we’ve seen!”
Five Down™ is an original card and strategy game that combines elements of rummy, poker, and spades with missions, bounties, timing, and competitive decision-making. Players must manage their cards, complete objectives, and determine the right moment to declare “Five Down.”
Through Reimagine Games, Angela creates games that encourage strategic thinking, social connection, and new ways of playing together. Her work brings an inventive and inclusive perspective to the tabletop game industry while demonstrating the power of games to build skills, spark competition, and bring people together.

Angela is an author and independent publisher whose work spans systems strategy, Black history, cultural education, and children’s literature.
Her latest work, GreenRose: A Strategic Operating System for Black America, presents a comprehensive framework for moving Black America beyond fragmented initiatives and recurring responses toward coordinated infrastructure, measurable goals, and collective progress. The GreenRose publication series includes a Systems Manual, an Operations Manual, and an Individual Workbook designed to support understanding and implementation at the institutional, organizational, and individual levels.
Angela is also the author of The Pretty Poodle, a fully illustrated work of juvenile historical fiction honoring Mary Lou Allison Gardner Little, the primary founder of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. The story follows a young girl named Mary whose childhood experiences help shape her historic accomplishments later in life. Written for children in grades three through six, the book promotes literacy, cultural appreciation, historical awareness, and academic achievement.
Upon its publication in 2014, The Pretty Poodle made Sigma Gamma Rho the first National Pan-Hellenic Council organization to have the life of its primary founder honored in a children’s publication. The book is permanently housed in the Indianapolis Public Library’s Special Collections Room in the city where the sorority was founded.
Through Heiress Publishing, Angela develops and publishes books, manuals, workbooks, and educational resources that transform ideas, history, and strategic frameworks into accessible tools for learning and action.
